CBBC knows the thought of coming into a new church, or maybe attending church for the very first time, can be intimidating. We want you to feel at home the moment you step out of your car. With our friendly greeters and caring members, you can expect to feel like you’ve come home!
No matter which worship service you attend, you can expect to find people just like you – people who want to grow in faith and seek to honor God in Worship, celebrating the Truth, and through Word and Music. Here are are a few answers to some of your possible questions:
What can I expect as a Guest?
To be treated like family! We have a great team of volunteers whose main job is to point you in the right direction and make you feel at home! During our services we will do all we can to treat you like a guest in our home.
How should I dress?
Casual dress. . .serious faith! Don’t let not having “church clothes” keep you from coming. You’ll find a variety of casual dress at CBBC.
How can I meet the Pastor?
Our pastor greets people before and after the service, and is excited to meet you and your family! If you have any questions about the church (how to become a member or what we believe), or just need some spiritual direction, an appointment with the pastor during the week may be the best way to go. Contact the CBBC Office.
Where do my Preschool Children go?
While you are more than welcome to keep your children with you during the worship service, we do encourage you to take advantage of our fun, safe, and spiritually nurturing Nursery, Preschool, and Children’s Ministries. Our Greeters will be available to direct you! Your children will have a great experience with our children!
Children’s Church activities?
Yes, during the 9:30 am service, children participate in Sunday school classes.
During the 11:00 am service, children participate in Junior Church.
There are also children’s activities every Sunday and Wednesday evening.
Where can I get information about church activities?
We have tables with all types of information happening around the Church community.
Feel free to pick up brochures and flyers. Also, check your church bulletin and website for current weekly activities.
Where does the Student Ministry meet?
The Greeters can direct you to the student building in the back of the Church. They will help your youth to find the right class.
